Fantastic lunch! My wife and I had lunch after reading several great reviews, and we were not disappointed! I had the andouille sausage sandwich, which was top notch, the peppers and onions were great additions and did not overwhelm the sandwich. My wife had the blackened fish tacos, recommended on yelp and my the server. She eats A LOT of fish tacos and remarked that these were some of the best she has had! Overall a great lunch! No drinks on this visit, but they do have a nice selection of beers so that only adds to this place! Do yourself a favor and stop here!

In town for the weekend and wanted to try something different. The food was all great! Definitely go for the baked beans as your side. I had the jalapeño popper chicken sandwich, and it was great! The chicken was juicy and the sandwich was very flavorful.

A great little sandwich shop. Very accommodating to my vegetarian girlfriend. I had the pulled pork tacos and they were amazing. The owner does the cooking and you can tell he cares. He came out to ask us how everything was. The greatest thing about this place though is that it is a hidden oasis of craft beer hidden in this desert of mass produced crap. 6 taps of craft beer and a decent bottle selection. They love craft beer and they sell what they love. Give it a try.

We decided on this place after checking out reviews on yelp. Took a while to actually find it since it's not bordering the road but instead is part of a collection of shops with parking in front of it. The shop didn't look like much and there wasn't much of a crowd which is too bad for all those people missing out on the great sandwiches and subs. We are very particular about having lagers and the owner walked us through his selection and we ended up having a roasted dark beer on tap which was great. We ordered blackened fish tacos, a chicken sub (don't recall the name) and jalapeño popper chicken sandwich. All dishes were very very good with their own distinct flavors coming through. The chips were a bit salty.. but that's what the beer is for. Lots of tables outside the shop to take in the crowds and colors on the bagnell strip. Good food and good service... great combo.

Went to this sandwich place to grab some sandwiches to-go. It definitely takes a decent amount of time for them to make the sandwiches so not a great place to go if you're in a pinch. We waited 10 or 15 minutes for two sandwiches, but they were great. It depends on what you're looking for. There is only one table that seats 4 and the other three tables seat 2 so if you're looking to sit down with your family there might not be room. The food, however, was awesome and the guys that work there are nice. I had a monte cristo and it was delicious (although I didn't really like the jam on it) and my parents shared a turkey blt and they loved it!

Really good food. We had the blackened fish taco and the Full Nelson. Very good, excellent quick service. The location is tiny with very little seating-but the food more than makes up for it. We will definitely visit this place again.

First time here and wow! What a meal! We had lunch here: the Wise Cristo sandwich and fish tacos. Both were delicious!!!! The service was friendly and helpful. We sat outside and enjoyed the beachy atmosphere. Don't miss this great little spot. We'd definitely come back!

This was a great little sandwich shop. Not much seating inside, and not much in the way of decoration or motif, but the food was outstanding. I had a Turkey Club and my wife and son had the pulled pork sandwich (southern style with coleslaw on top). Both were outstanding. We sat outside at a picnic table, as did many others. It was definitely a place I would recommend.

Excellent food and a good beer selection. The only downside is the place is small, only three tables and a bar. If you like fish tacos, go for those. Also, I'm not normally a potato salad fan, but I make an exception for the Wise Guys potato salad. Very tasty.

Discovered this gem the week I relocated to Lake of the Ozarks. They have a nice selection of local brews on tap and recommendations for each from the owner. I savored the nine days of flavors cooked into the pastrami special and the cheeseburger soup that accompanied it. My wife loved the Four Hands Morning Glory draw with the Monte Cristo sandwich and the home-made potato salad. The food is phenomenal but the atmosphere is another reason to frequent Wise Guys. The place only seats about a dozen but those dozen, along with the staff, create an easy-going atmosphere reminiscent of Cheers. It's a place you can't go in without knowing everyone's name before you leave. They have daily specials and are open from 11am until the dinner folks have their fill. We'll be back often.

Don't be deceived by looks in this place-inside there's about four tables to sit at, more tables outside, and the other half of the place is the bar. BUT the food was great. I got the fish tacos with baked beans and husband got the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich with potato salad. The tacos were amazing-they were covered in a really thick layer of dressing that I would've liked to have half the amount of, but it was so good I ate it anyways. The beans were a little spicey but delicious as well. The chicken sandwich was good...potato salad soso. It had huge chunks of bacon which again, just a personal preference thing, wasn't a fan of. For both of us the order was about $18 (got the yelp deal, $10 for $20 in food) Waitress was pretty friendly, only bad thing was she stuck her finger in my drink cup when picking it up, realized it was empty, then asked if I wanted a refill. I did, but uh...not any more. Overall I'd definitely eat here again.
